TÜBİTAK 1505: AI-Supported Sustainable Logistics Network Design

The project entitled “Dynamic and Sustainable Network Design Optimization under AI-Detected Demand Anomalies,” coordinated by Prof. Dr. Alev Taşkın from the Department of Industrial Engineering, has been selected for funding under the TÜBİTAK 1505 University–Industry Collaboration Support Program. The project aims to develop an intelligent demand forecasting and anomaly detection system using advanced artificial intelligence algorithms. Based on the insights generated by this system, dynamic logistics network designs will be optimized with a focus on minimizing both carbon emissions and operational costs. By integrating artificial intelligence into logistics planning and supply chain decision-making processes, the project seeks to deliver innovative and efficient solutions that support environmental sustainability and industrial competitiveness.
