TÜBİTAK MAM Meeting: Maritime Sector Technology Roadmap Research Project

The YTU Faculty of Naval Architecture and Maritime hosted the TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Centre (MAM) delegation within the scope of the 'Maritime Sector Technology Roadmap Research Project,' supported by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure (UDHAM). Within the framework of this strategic project initiated on 1 August 2025, productive discussions were conducted on cooperation opportunities and R&D work that can be carried out with the faculty on the future of maritime technologies.

Cerbe Modular UUV: 1st Place Maritime Category

The “Cerbe Modular Unmanned Underwater Vehicle” project, developed within the YTU Defence Industry Technologies Club, was deemed worthy of the first-place award in the Maritime Category of the 2nd National Inter-University R&D Ideas Competition organised by UDHAM under the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure. This project, standing out with its modular design and innovative engineering solutions, successfully represented domestic R&D potential in underwater technologies.
