Türkiye Educational Technologies Summit and Memorandum of Understanding

YTU Yıldız Technopark played a prominent role in the Türkiye Educational Technologies Summit organized by the Ministry of National Education under the theme of “Artificial Intelligence in Education.” During the summit, General Manager Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammet Garip highlighted that the 48 educational technology startups operating within the technopark ecosystem had achieved exports exceeding USD 17 million as of 2024. Through its offices in Dubai, London, and Amsterdam, YTU Yıldız Technopark continues to support Turkish startups in accessing international markets and advancing educational technologies globally. One of the most significant outcomes of the summit was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Mustafa Canlı, Director General of Innovation and Educational Technologies of the Ministry of National Education. Through the Educational Technologies Acceleration Programme and EdTech Cluster Initiatives, entrepreneurship, mentoring, and investment processes will be integrated into a comprehensive ecosystem. The initiative aims to accelerate the development, testing, and commercialization of AI-supported and pedagogically grounded educational solutions at both national and international levels.
