“Urban Sketches Workshop” was held on March 26, 2024, at Yıldız Technical University, Faculty of Architecture, D-402. Conducted in collaboration with TAK (Tasarım Atölyesi Kadıköy), the workshop was led by architect and watercolor artist Özlem Öğüt (@paperozy).
The event combined watercolor techniques with architectural sketching, allowing participants to explore the artistic and structural features of the Yıldız Campus. In addition to learning about various watercolor styles such as food, flora, and fashion illustration, attendees had the opportunity to interpret their surroundings through creative expression.
This workshop encouraged artistic creativity, environmental awareness, and appreciation for cultural and architectural heritage, aligning with the principles of sustainable and inclusive urban design.
