Members of the YTU Conservation and Restoration Club (KOREK) continued their academic contributions within the framework of the IV International Conservation and Restoration Students Symposium (ICORESS-2025), hosted by Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. On the second day of the symposium, club members Merve Türk and İrem Cingitaş presented their study entitled “Wall Painting Conservation and Restoration Practices Conducted During the 2024 Excavation Season at the House of the Muses in the Ancient City of Zeugma.” The presentation highlighted the experiences gained through fieldwork at the archaeological site and shared contemporary conservation techniques applied during the project. Focusing on the preservation and restoration of ancient wall paintings, the study addressed the meticulous interventions undertaken to safeguard cultural heritage and ensure its transmission to future generations.
