YTU hosted the Wave of Change Conference on 14 May 2024 in Istanbul, Türkiye.
The event brought together key stakeholders in the blue economy and ocean literacy sectors, including representatives from academia, NGOs, and industry.
Through multi-panel discussions and interactive sessions, participants explored strategies for sustainable marine resource management, ocean literacy, and community engagement in conservation.
This initiative supports the objectives of SDG 14 (Life Below Water) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by promoting collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation for the protection of aquatic ecosystems.
