As part of the Environmental Festival, Yıldız Technical University collaborated with Studio Le Fond to host an inspiring Candle Making Workshop that focused on transforming waste bottles into beautiful, functional candles. Participants learned the principles of upcycling and explored creative ways to give new life to discarded materials, turning everyday waste into decorative and useful products. Through this hands-on experience, attendees not only developed new crafting skills but also deepened their understanding of circular economy concepts, emphasizing the importance of resource efficiency, waste reduction, and sustainable creativity in daily life.
