The "Yıldız Kaşifleri" Programme jointly implemented by Yıldız Technical University and YTU Yıldız Technopark, expanded its scope during its second term and opened participation to university students from across Türkiye. Under the condition that each team captain is a YTU student, the programme provides a comprehensive two-stage support mechanism covering the entire process from idea generation to market entry and company formation. With a total budget of TRY 10 million, the programme offers funding of up to TRY 250,000 for projects and startups operating in strategic sectors, while also providing additional support opportunities for master’s and doctoral students. The programme experienced remarkable growth, increasing from 81 applicant teams in its first term to 167 teams in the second term, while the number of participating students rose from 350 to 830. Hundreds of young innovators from 34 universities joined the Yıldız Kaşifleri Programme.
