Yıldız Off-Season

Turkey's first FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) 'Week 0' off-season event was held in collaboration with YTU, YTU Yıldız Technopark, and YTU Innovation Hub. Organised at YTU Indoor Sports Hall from 28 February to 2 March 2025, this event brought together robotics teams, predominantly high school students, before the official regional competitions. With the support of Teknotürk Teknoloji, YTÜMat Robotics, and Techtolia Robotics, teams had the opportunity to test their robots and develop their strategies under the 'REEFSCAPE' theme. Targeting the development of professional experience for future engineer candidates, this organisation strengthened the FRC community in Turkey and contributed to the establishment of an innovation and engineering culture from an early age.
