YTU and ASFAT (Military Factories and Shipyard Operations Inc.) Cooperation Protocol

Yıldız Technical University and ASFAT (Military Factories and Shipyard Operations Inc.) signed a strategic cooperation protocol to strengthen domestic technologies in the defence industry, covering several critical areas. Under the protocol: joint R&D projects will be conducted in the fields of autonomous systems and advanced engineering for the defence industry; internship and applied training programmes will be organised for undergraduate and graduate students within ASFAT; technology transfer and consultancy processes will be accelerated for the commercialisation of academic knowledge; joint project applications will be submitted to national and international funding bodies; and knowledge sharing will be provided through advanced technology-focused workshops, seminars, and scientific organisations.
