Yıldız Technical University and the Istanbul Chamber of Industry (İSO) signed a multi-layered university-industry cooperation protocol that will accelerate Turkey's economic development. Signed by YTU Rector Prof. Dr. Eyüp Debik and İSO Board Chairman Erdal Bahçıvan, this strategic partnership encompasses concrete, performance-oriented objectives in education-training, R&D and innovation, and interaction development. At the centre of the protocol are the İSO Young Researcher Programme and YTU's pioneering KOOP Education Model, aiming for students to achieve deep integration with the industrial world before graduation. This new structure, spanning from R&D to product development, from technology transfer to entrepreneurship support, will enable academic knowledge to be combined directly with industrial experience and converted into economic value added.
