In recognition of World Autism Awareness Day, the YTU Children and Education Club organized an awareness event in collaboration with the Tohum Autism Foundation. The program began with a symbolic gathering in the campus courtyard, where students dressed in red and decorated trees with red ribbons to visually represent support for individuals with autism.
Following the symbolic activity, a seminar titled “How Much Do We Know? Autism Spectrum Disorder” was held at the YTU Historical Bath. The session covered fundamental topics such as “What is Autism?”, “Characteristics of Individuals with Autism,” and “Effective Communication with Autistic Individuals.” The seminar aimed to enhance awareness and understanding of autism spectrum disorders among university students and participants.
