"YTU Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Ayhan Yavaşoğlu, Participates in 8th National Antarctic Science Expedition"

YTU faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Ayhan Yavaşoğlu from the Department of Mechatronics Engineering at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering participated in the 8th National Antarctic Science Expedition with his research project titled “Development of a Compatible Energy Storage System in Polar Conditions.”

Conducted under extreme environmental conditions, this project aims to develop sustainable and efficient energy storage technologies suitable for polar climates, contributing to climate research and renewable energy innovation in one of the world’s most fragile ecosystems.
