YTU has become a full member of the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN). The university will take part in the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) Experiment, one of the four major experiments conducted on the Large Hadron Collider, the world’s largest particle physics laboratory.
Through this collaboration, YTU strengthens its role in high-energy physics and advanced research infrastructure. The partnership promotes international scientific cooperation, enhances research capacity, and offers YTU students and researchers access to world-class experimental environments expanding Türkiye’s visibility in global science and innovation.
