YTU is officially listed as a Climate Change Actor under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), highlighting its role in supporting global and national climate policy development.
Through its commitments to halving emissions by 2030 and achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, YTU contributes to international climate initiatives and aligns its institutional strategies with global policy frameworks.
