World Intellectual Property Day

On May 24, 2024, Yıldız Technical University hosted the World Intellectual Property Day event at Davutpaşa Campus Historical Bath, in partnership with Boğaziçi University, Istanbul Technical University, Istanbul University, and Sabancı University.

The event highlighted the key role of intellectual property (IP) in promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development, aligning with the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Panels and discussions emphasized the transformative power of IP for economic growth, technology transfer, and environmental sustainability, as well as university collaboration in establishing a joint patent ecosystem.
