YTU students from the Department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering achieved remarkable success at the National Ship and Yacht Design Competition 2024, winning awards in all categories. Projects such as “Freyr,” “Aurora,” “Samandağ,” and “Dalay” demonstrated cutting-edge design, sustainability, and technical excellence in marine engineering.
The competition fosters innovation, creativity, and sustainability in maritime design while strengthening the connection between academia and industry. It also promotes student engagement in applied engineering, equipping participants with real-world design and problem-solving skills.
