The YTU Sigma Aeronautics team qualified to participate in the Design/Build/Fly (DBF) competition, one of the most prestigious organisations in the aviation world, organised by AIAA in Arizona, USA. Successfully passing the demanding preliminary elimination process from among 159 university teams participating from around the world, the team created an international distinction by becoming the only team from Türkiye accepted to this competition.
