Yıldız Technical University Lecturer Gülseven Bektaş has been accepted into two prestigious COST Action working groups supported by the European Union, marking an important achievement.
The first project Bektaş will contribute to is the EUPopLink (Links Between Populism and Euroscepticism) Working Group. Within this project, Bektaş aims to analyze the relationship between populism and Euroscepticism in depth, understand their societal impacts during multiple crisis periods, and develop effective policy recommendations to mitigate these effects. The project provides an interdisciplinary platform aimed at shedding light on social transformation processes across Europe.
The second project, ENIS (European Network on International Student Mobility: Bridging Research and Practice) Working Group, focuses on developing innovative approaches to international student mobility and translating scientific data into actionable recommendations. This project will offer a crucial roadmap for creating fairer and more inclusive international education policies.
