YTU students received the Honorable Mention Award in the international competition “Urban Solutions Against Climate Change in the Mediterranean,” organized by the Union for the Mediterranean (UFM) in 2023.
The competition brought together participants from 12 countries and 80 projects, focusing on innovative architectural and urban design strategies to mitigate the impacts of climate change in Mediterranean cities.
Representing YTU’s Faculty of Architecture and Department of City and Regional Planning, the students’ project proposed sustainable and resilient design approaches to enhance climate adaptation in urban contexts.
