“Yuva || Konak” Exhibition

The Yuva || Konak exhibition is based on faculty member Umut Tasa’s observations of 40 different bird species recorded on the Davutpaşa Campus between 2012 and 2024. Presented at the Tarihi Sarnıç venue, the exhibition consists of sculptures, sensory experiences, and site-specific installations. The exhibition brings together bird species, visual elements, and spatial arrangements to document the natural life cycle of the campus through an artistic and digital cataloguing approach. Enriched with installations spread across the site, this work aims to contribute to the university’s vision of ecological awareness and the preservation of cultural heritage. The exhibition, whose information, artistic productions, and digital catalogue are presented together, highlights Yıldız Technical University as an important example of sustainable campus life and artistic diversity.
