Abstract

Complexity of PV design need an optimization rule for providing better performances and utilizing accurate annually generated power. In this paper, Non-Dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm-II has been applied to optimize the shaded and non-shaded configuration for 6-array of Trina Solar PV module connected in series. Azimuth, Tilt angle, distances between each panel as well as the racking type was the main parameters for the optimization technique and for the selected area. In addition, weather condition are applied after all of the picked parameters have been optimized. This technique showed 92% of annual efficiency for Azimuth angle 207 and Tilt angle of about 10 with Total On-Site and Utility Electric Sources of about 1.101043 kWh. It's also pointed to the system main losses sources for more accurate to be applied with a high frequency switching topologies.
