Abstract

This study examines the conservationof the remains of the archaeological excavations carried out at the area where thecable car station will be located in the Iplik Pazari neighborhood in Antakya city,Hatay province. The study aims to determine the principle approach for theconservation of the ruins, mainly the Three Panel Figured Mosaic, and theinterventions to be performed at the area for the cable car station.As the results obtained, the cablecar station, its construction and foundation over the ruins formed with the interventionapproach and methods for the conservation of the ruins at the area, togetherwith the requirements of today's physical conditions and necessities as anurban area at the core of the Antakya city.
