Abstract
Turkish Abstract: Yatirimcilar tasarruflarini yatirim araclarinda kullanip karlarini maksimize etmeyi amaclarken ayni zamanda riski minimize etmeye calismaktadirlar. Benzer sekilde borsada islem goren paylarin alim-satim islemlerinde kar maksimizasyonu ve risk minimizasyonu hedeflenir. Bu kapsamda yatirimcilar acisindan onemli kavramlardan birisi oynakliktir. Literaturde borsalarda oynakligin modellenmesi ve tahmin edilmesine iliskin calismalar yer almaktadir. Bu calismada Web of Knowledge veri tabaninda yer alan ve borsalarda oynakligi inceleyen yayinlarin bibliyometrik analizi yapilmistir. Anahtar kelimeler kullanilarak yapilan aramada 1975-2017 yillari arasinda toplam 7.568 adet yayin bulundugu belirlenmistir. Calismada, borsalarda oynaklik konusunda calisan yazarlar arasindaki sosyal ag yapisi, ortak yazarlik ve konu temelli degiskenler incelenmistir. Analiz sonucunda ortak yazarlik ag yapisinin Amerika Birlesik Devletleri ve Cin agirlikli oldugu belirlenmistir. Ayrica birlikte gecen anahtar kelimeler haritalandirildiginda “volatility”, “stock market”, “stock returns” “econophysics”, “GARCH” ve “financial crisis” kelimelerinin daha sik kullanildigi gorulmustur. Anahtar kelimelere gore yapilan analizde 7 sinif olusmustur. Birinci sinifta “volatility”, “stock market”, “stock returns”, “quantile regression”; ikinci sinifta “exchange rate volatility”, “trade openness”, “monetary policy”; ucuncu sinifta “high-frequency data”, “asset allocation”; dorduncu sinifta “stochastic volatility”, “long memory”; besinci sinifta “econophysics”; altinci sinifta “forecasting” ve son sinifta JEL kodlari en fazla kullanilan kelimelerdir. English Abstract: While investors try to maximize their profits by using their savings on some investments, they try to minimize their risks at the same time. Similarly, profit maximization and risk minimization are targeted in buying and selling transactions of stocks traded exchanges. In this context, volatility is one of the important terms for investors. There are studies regarding modelling and forecasting of volatility in exchanges in the literature. In this study, publications, which take place in the database of Web of Knowledge and handle volatility in exchanges, are examined by bibliometric analysis. It was determined that there are 7,568 publications for the years 1975-2017 which were found by making research with keywords. Social network structure between authors of whom study about volatility in exchanges, co-authorship and subject-based variables are examined in the study. As a result of analysis, it is stated that co-authorship social network structure was mainly from United States of America and China. In addition, it was seen that “volatility”, “stock market”, “stock returns” “econophysics”, “GARCH”, and “financial crisis” words were most used when keywords passing together are mapped. There were 7 classes according to analysis made based on keywords. They were most used words that “volatility”, “stock market” “stock returns”, “quantile regression” in first class; “exchange rate volatility”, “trade openness”, “monetary policy” in second class; “high-frequency data”, “asset allocation” in third class; “stochastic volatility”, “long memory” in the fourth class; “econophysics” in the fifth class; “forecasting” in the sixth class, and JEL codes in the sixth class.
