Abstract
According to Aristo’s mimesis theory, art is imitation of nature (real). An art product, says Aristo, is most valuable when it imitates the complete nature well. Even though the opinion of the condition that art must imitate nature has been forgotten since 19. century, it can be said that Aristo’s description of art is still effective. With the aid of computer technology, it’s possible to make models that can not be differentiated from the real. In this study, it will be argued that the computer aided photo-real models is whether art or not, on the guidance of the Aristo’s theory of art.
