She was born in İzmir and completed her bachelor's degree in American Culture and Literature. Her master's degree in educational administration and supervision. She has been working as an English teacher in the Ministry of National Education (MoNE) for ten years. The areas of study she is interested in including education policy, innovation and change in education, leadership for equity and social justice in education.
