Abstract
Motor circuit analysis techniques involve the use of low voltage, frequency-based and high voltage turn and insulation to ground tests. These methods primarily rely upon circuit inductance, capacitance and impedances as well as insulation to ground capacitive measurements. In this paper the common methods will be outlined as they relate to form wound assembled machines from 4160 Volts to 13.8 kV systems including examples of applications at both voltages.
