Refet Ramiz YTU , F. Güneş YTU

Abstract

In this work, a new design method has been developed for the Low-Pass Filter (LPF) circuits using n th transformed Bernstein polynomial B/sub u/(f;/spl omega/) with the transformation x=g(/spl omega/) subject to the required specifications of the characteristics. Almost all the methods utilized in the filter design are unified under a framework and the resulted performances are ordered on a Filter Design Chart with respect to the pass-band flatness and slopes at the cut-off frequency. In the dual stage, the new type filters are derived subject to the required specifications placed on the filter design chart.
