Abstract
Miniature art is among the very old art types. Miniature, which has been used for describing written texts and making it easier to understand and keep the information in mind, continues its mission by using it in advertisements, promotional articles, books and academic texts, posters and brochures and web sites. In terms of color and size, it is possible to create and use miniature art in a digital environment where perspective is not used in paintings. Social dynamics affect the interpretation of this art as in every period. In this study, the phases of the miniature art from the past to the present, its main features and application areas are compiled.
