Abstract
The aim of this study is to determine if there is a difference among the opinions of teachers of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grades on 2005 curricula. Population of the study consists of 40395 primary education teachers who work in Istanbul, and sample of the study composed of 386 primary education teachers working in 8 districts that were chosen from the population via cluster random method. Common scanning method has been used in this study. Data has been acquired from “the survey on determining the teachers’ opinions on 2005 curricula”. According to the results of the study, it is found that there is no statistical difference among the opinions of the teachers of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grades on preparatory dimension of curricula. However, it is found that there is a statistical difference among the opinions of the teachers of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grades on outcomes, themes, learning process and monitoring and evaluation dimensions.
