Abstract

MR damper being a semi-active component, has a nonlinear character and its damping force can be changed with the voltage applied to MR damper. For this purpose, the design of voltage sent to MR damper was done depending on the status of volt 2. The damping force is changed with the voltage determined and vibrations can be reduced with the help of MR dampers. The result of simulation works showed that the voltage applied to the MR damper has an active role in reducing vibration.
