Abstract

A Marcus conveyer consists of a trough supported by stationary rollers and double‐crank drive. In Marcus conveyers by turning system is possible to give back and forth movement. The trough acceleration first increases gradually, then drops down sharply, changes the direction, attains the highest negative value and finally increases sharply. This mode of trough motion is ensured by a double‐crank drive. Moving ahead of the load is possible only when the friction strength is higher than the forward movement of the tray The changes of the quantity of motion parameters have been represented by graphics using mathematica programme. Obtained results are compared the results in the literature and it is realized that the general tendency are approximately same.
