Abstract
Monitoring water quality is critical for the sustainability of ecosystems and the effective management of water resources. Traditional water assessment methods typically require laboratory settings, are time-consuming, and incur high costs. In this study, the electrical impedances of different water samples are measured in an aquarium environment, and parameters potentially related to water quality are evaluated. Measurements are conducted in the frequency range of 4 Hz – 10 MHz, and equivalent electrical model is analyzed using the Randles circuit. The results demonstrate temporal variations in water conductivity, resistance, and capacitance, reflecting potential pollution effects. This approach offers a fast and reliable alternative for environmental monitoring applications.
