The purpose of this research is to examine various aspects of research on globalization and internationalization in higher education. The study was conducted using a systematic review method. Searches were performed using the keywords "Global Higher Education," "International Higher Education," and "Transnational Higher Education" in the Web of Science database. Articles published in higher education journals from 2018 onwards were included in the study. According to the criteria, 2 studies were identified under the keyword "Global Higher Education," 10 studies under "International Higher Education," and 12 studies under "Transnational Higher Education." In total, 24 articles were examined within the scope of the research. The findings section includes information about the publication year, country coverage, research designs and methods, sample types, research scope and topics, as well as evaluations of the articles' results. Based on the research findings, it is recommended to conduct further research on academics and university administrators to gain a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of global higher education. Analyzing the situation in different countries and increasing quantitative research on the attitudes and competencies of students and academics are also suggested.
