Yıldız Technical University aims to become a pioneering institution at the national level and a globally competitive university focused on R&D, innovation, and entrepreneurship. It seeks to contribute to national development, play a role in solving global challenges, encourage university–public–industry collaboration and interdisciplinary work, and equip its community with innovative and contemporary skills and competencies.
In this context, the university’s policy to promote sustained, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment, and decent work for all is based on the following principles:

Diversifying its operations with consideration of environmental impacts to support sustainable economic growth and contributing to economic efficiency by developing high-innovation technologies,

Encouraging entrepreneurship by equipping students with technical and vocational skills, and training individuals with the competencies needed for employment and decent work,

Developing national and international projects and conducting R&D studies involving vocational training, information and communication technologies, and technical, engineering, and scientific programs,

Establishing collaborations and partnerships to facilitate the commercialization and productization of R&D,

Contributing to the development of R&D capacities and access to inclusive and quality education in less developed and developing countries,
