Yıldız Technical University’s Student Dean’s Office provides comprehensive psychological support and student well-being services that prioritize confidentiality, accessibility, and ethical standards. The unit delivers free, professional psychological counseling, crisis-response procedures in coordination with campus security and national emergency services, and structured referral mechanisms for students at risk, contributing directly to mental health and safety on campus. In addition, evidence-based peer mentoring and peer counseling programs are implemented to strengthen academic, social, and emotional adaptation, supported by specialized training delivered by psychologists and counselors, reinforcing student success, resilience, and lifelong learning skills. All services operate under a strict non-discrimination framework, ensuring equal, safe, and respectful access for all students regardless of gender, identity, disability status, socioeconomic background, or cultural differences.
